Chapter I
A temple festival in Nallur, the rhythm of the thavil, the scent of jasmine, and the first quiet glance between two strangers who would not stay strangers.
Chapter II
Two years of late phone calls across the Palk Strait, slow walks by the Galle Face when distances closed, and family dinners that turned into a chosen second home.
Chapter III
Aravind kept his grandmother's gold ring in a velvet pouch for six months. He asked at Jaffna Fort, in the crimson half-light of an October sunset. She said yes before he finished.

Before the mantras are chanted and the fire is lit, the simple things are gathered first: jasmine for her hair, a brass lamp for the altar, fresh silk and a thali, marigold for the threshold.

Order of Rites
Rite I

Rite III
The sacred Hindu wedding: the tying of the Thali at the auspicious hour ordained by the panchangam.
Rite IV
A grand evening of traditional feast, music, and the first dance, celebrated with all who blessed our union.
